Instructions for Applying NShield Tank Pad

Clean the surface of your motorcycle tank with an IPA cleaner or an alcohol wipe. Avoid using methylated spirits, petrol, lighter fluid, or any other substances that may leave behind a greasy residue.Warm up the tank for optimal results. You can do this by either setting it in the sun or using a hair dryer on a low setting to gently heat it. This will make the tank pad more pliable and allow it to better conform to the contours of your motorcycle tank. If you’re unable to warm up the tank, make sure the prepared surface is at least 65°F / 18°C.Gently remove the tank pad from the backing sheet and firmly press it onto the surface of your motorcycle tank.Starting from one side, use your hand to press down on the surface of the pad and smooth out any air bubbles as you go along. Ensure the pad securely adheres to the surface of the tank.Finally, allow 48 hours for the adhesive to bond before using your motorcycle. This will give the adhesive enough time to fully cure and provide maximum protection for your motorcycle tank.
